Gift Cards (fund script) - Tim Hamilton has asked for someone else to take over the gift card program that we are presently running. Presently we have about $5-6000 of offbeat cards that are not sold on a regular basis. But is depositing $1000-1500 every two weeks Minimum orders is $4000 to get free delivery of cards. Delivery is $26
Sarah McGinnis commented that B&K Mechanic (Kurt Lovell) would take over the gift card program

League decided to give 50% discount to centres with fines for missing games and game sheets from the previous season. Due by Sept 1st
Reminder that game sheets must be mailed by Monday from the previous weeks games. Fine will remain the same $10/ game sheet
League fees - $100 discounted this fee, however increased registration to $50/team from $45/team
Blackout dates due by next meeting (august 9th -7:15)

Looking for centre to host the Midget All Star Game in January and year end A/E and A All Star Games
6 new centres have joined the Shamrock League – Dresden, Mooretown, Ridgetown, Wallaceburg, Petrolia and Blenheim
Shamrock league developed a proposal on how to maintain the next season with the increase of centres. Emailed the proposals out, with only a few replies
OMHA

Effective 2011-2012 season referee rates - $1.00 increase for 2 official and 3 official system (linesmen remain the same)
Effective 2012-2013 season Glencoe to drop to “DD” centre- Centres can appeal by December 31st for their category review change
Update on clinics (coaches refresher, trainers etc.) are posted on the OMHA website.
Aug 9th Cindy cannot make the shamrock meeting and needs someone to go. Eddie offered to go to the Shamrock meeting at the Mt.Brydges Community Centre
Regular season for the league games will start Sept.24 Cindy was going black out that weekend due to the fair

Discsussed whether we will go ahead with NHL draw tickets and who would sell them. He suggested that a book be given to each player’s family to sell (10 books per team).

We have coaches committed for beginners, atom shamrock, midget LL and midget Shamrock

Bob has last year’s files. Nothing has changed although there is a waiver for existing registrants. Bob is to give Scott Purbrick the police check files.

Eddie just received the info from Shawn Mooser. Eddie is to find out when the referee in chief meeting is which is sometime in September

The next meeting is Aug 29 is at the Bothwell Legion 7:30
Everything is moving forward. They are going to adopt Glencoe`s bylaws. Cindy is waiting to hear from Sue Michalski. Cindy is going to ask Sue to come our Aug 29th meeting.

Will has started to work on it and is starting to get accustom to it. We received all the programming from Bob Pearson. Updates on the website will be arriving shortly.

GMHA Scholarship award for GDHS graduating student chosen from a list of graduating GMHA players. The scholarship consist of $250. It was also asked that the students write a small essay to be considered for the scholarship
